The Unveiling Of The DeLorean At The Petersen Automotive Museum - #Movie #Blog

An epic scene, from a great movie, and I got to see the car up close!
Alright guys, so remember the blog that I did on my personal site about my night at the Petersen Automotive Museum? Well here is the next installment of all that!

Ok, so just a little reminder note, so I went there with my buddy and owner of AwesomeBMovies.com, 'Matthew Dowling' to go see this event, and well we got there kind of early and so I thought that while we were waiting that I would check out the Museum itself as I am a huge car fan, and boy what I saw there... I can't wait to go there again! Let's just put it this way... For more information on that, click here:

Just one of the many awesome cars on display at the Petersen!
Anyway as for the event itself, being that this event was being sponsored by Hot Wheels and Universal, as well as the Petersen itself, this event was to unveil the complete restoration of the original, 'A' car from 1985's, Back To The Future! And the first speaker was the guy who actually developed the newest DeLorean toy car for Hot Wheels!

Now first off he began with the process of building the new car from the ground up, including starting off with the basic design of the car, and how he continually got to watch the first movie over and over again to make sure that he got all of the nuances of the original car that could be replicated for the new car on the new car... (Some stuff just couldn't be replicated from the original car, but that is just because those parts were just to big and to much to replicate.)

Don't worry guys, we will have these cars soon.
Then after that he went on to describe a fascinating history of the car in hot wheel form, (don't worry, that blog will be coming soon as well!)

With that said though, we come to the next phase, and something that was really cool was the Q&A with one of the people from TMZ, Steve Concotelli, Joe Walser (Both guys worked on the documentary, worked on the documentary about the restoration called, 'Outatime', and Joe was part of the team that restored the car) and producer Bob Gale (he actually worked on the movie!)

A great Q&A!
Anyway, this was an amazing Q&A that definitely got to talking about the restoration of the original car, and one addition that was added to the car, (To give a little context on this,  when this car was used in the original movie, the lights and sound effects had to be done separate to the car... They added all that in to the car itself!)

But another thing that was really cool about all of this, was all of the awesome stories that you never heard from the set to!

You know what, check this out, I think you guys are really going to like this!

Why The MCU Will Always Be Better Than The DCCU! - #Movie #ComicBook #Blog

A great universe... So why is DC trying to fuck up the TV and movie series?
Ok, so we all know about the brilliance of the, 'MCU'... I mean it is awesome! Watching, 'The Avengers'... Or even, 'Agent Carter'... And I don't know if you have noticed yet, but it seems like DC is trying to follow suite... A good time to do so with the MCU about to make some massive changes... But the way they are doing it... I mean come on!

Now let me explain... So the movies that are being done by DC, are fantastic! The TV shows they are doing are even better, but when you consider the whole, 'DCU' they both suck!

What I mean by this is the abusive way that the morons at DC are seriously fucking up the characters!

Now here is what I mean by this:

1. Ok... So I am certain that if you are a, 'Flash' fan, that Grant Gustin ('The Flash' on the CW show,) is absolutely brilliant as the Speedster! But for some dumb ass reason, the casting executives at DC decided to cast some one else as the Speedster for the upcoming, 'The Justice League' movie!

Grant Gustin is, 'The Flash'... So why is DC trying to fuck that up?
2. With that said, with out Grant Gustin as, 'The Flash'... And don't get me wrong, They are going to have some one else in the role... But in this case from what I have heard, they are having Stephen Amell in his role as, 'Green Arrow' in the new Justice League movie

Ok, so for some reason it looks like, 'Stephen Amell' is going to be in the new justice league movie, but not, 'The Flash'... Trust me... That doesn't make sense!
3. And now we go in to the various TV series... Both Batman and Superman are mentioned in all of the TV series... And we are going to take this bit by bit... Let's start off with: Supergirl.

Supergirl is an amazing series, but it does almost seem like this show is the crux of where they are trying to fuck the DCU up!
Now Supergirl is an absolutely brilliant show... The problem is, is that where as it is true that  Henry Cavill (Man Of Steel) has never shown up for a guest spot in the series... But Henry Cavill's out line can definitely be seen a couple of times... But how can that be? I mean Grant Gustin is supposed to be guest starring on Supergirl soon... And he is being replaced by another actor for the movies... And then there is Jon Jonzz... A character who's actor in the TV series supposedly being replaced for, 'The Justice League'!

4. And then there are the crossovers between, 'Arrow' and, 'The Flash'... Without Grant Gustin in the upcoming movies... Then the crossovers become ridiculous!
This guy is supposedly going to be looking very different in the big screen!
Ultimately, the reason why the MCU will always be better then the DCU is the convoluted nature of how DC seems to be almost trying to fuck up their franchises! And the MCU's continuity is absolutely awesome!

The Terminator Main Theme And It's Variations - #Music #Movie #Blog

A great series with a surprisingly great soundtrack!
So over the years there has been a ton of variety in the main themes for the various Terminator movies, and so I thought that I would give you the listing of them from the beginning!

1. The Terminator (1984):

2. Terminator 2: Judgement Day (1991):

3. Terminator 3: Rise Of The Machines (2003):

4. Terminator: Salvation (2009):

5. Terminator: Gensys (2015):

Quicksilver... The Weird Movie Situation - #Marvel #Comics #Movies

Quicksilver in both the Marvel and Fox worlds... Yeah I know...
Ok, so I have to say that when I was a kid, one of my favorite characters in the comics was Quicksilver... Well I am gonna say that he was probably in my top 5, I mean that guy can really run!

With that said, through out the years, I have found that I have enjoyed every iterations of him both in written form as well as in TV form, but when it came to the movie form for this character, Marvel and Fox did something that just pissed me off!

Now hey, I get it, when it comes to the seeming feud between Marvel and Fox, they do seem to be acting like a bunch of toddlers when one takes their, 'binki' away... I mean it is not like instead of this ridiculous feud they have going on, they could just work together! I mean it's cool, you guys want to destroy iconic franchises like, 'Fantasic Four' for your idiotic feud, I get it... But the whole Quicksilver thing... I mean come on, really?

This feud between Marvel & Fox... yeah I know... They are going to destroy some amazing franchises if they keep up with it!
Now what I mean by this is the fact Quicksilver appears in both Fox's MCU, and Marvel's MCU, both as different actors, etc... Way to destroy a character guys!

What I mean by this is that in X-Men: Days Of Future Past (2014) Quicksilver is played by: Evan Peters (The Lazarus Effect), and in Avengers: Age Of Ultron (2015) Quicksilver is played by Aaron Taylor-Johnson (Godzilla), both apparently having appeared in the same movie, Kick-Ass (2010) and Marvel ends up killing Taylor-Johnson's version of the character!

All I am saying is that if these two production companies could kiss and make up, they could make a mutual MCU that would literally be epic!

For more information on these roles, please check out these clips from Avengers: Age Of Ultron (2015) and X-Men: Days Of Future Past (2014):

3 Reasons To Watch Horror Movies During The Holidays This Year - #Holiday #Horror

Watching horror on Halloween... How cool is that!
Ok, I admit that horror movies and holidays don't exactly go hand in hand during a series of holidays that are supposed to promote good will and charity for all, but let's be honest fright fans, horror movies rule, and so here are my three reasons to watch horror movies during the holidays!

1. They rule!

This Santa is going to hang a lot more from the chimney then stockings!

That's right, horror movies rock, I mean if you are by yourself this holiday season... Are you really going to watch Miracle On 34th Street (1947)? Or are you going to watch Santa Claws (1996)? If you are looking for some adrenaline pumping, edge of your seat type of thrills and chills during the Holidays, you are going to want to watch Santa Claws or the many other horror movies out there!

2. There are a ton of horror movies that match each holiday!

Thankskilling... This ain't your normal Turkey!
That's right fright fans, from, 'Thankskilling' to, 'Silent Night Bloody Night', there is definitely something there for everyone this holiday season!

And finally at number 3. If you are alone, some times doing something a little out of the usual can be fun!

Which Kringle did it, eh?
That's right fright fans, so if you are looking to do something a little different on either Thanksgiving or Christmas this year, then check out a horror movie... And here are some that I think might help you get started!

And if you want to find some more... Then check out these movies we have to offer in our store at HellsDepot.com

Movie Of The Half: Superman (1978)!

Not strictly a, 'Thanksgiving movie' per-se... I thought that I would go for the more tradition route for this Thanksgiving, and recommend a fan favorite... Something that is as American as, 'mom', 'apple pie,' and all the other iconic stuff that makes America great...

I thought that I would recommend: Superman (1978)!
Truly a fantastic film!
For those few out there that haven't heard of the movie: Essentially Superman tells the story of an Alien (who looks human,) who is sent to Earth from his dying planet, and grows up to fight crime as the worlds first super hero, for truth, justice and the American way!

For more information on this movie, check out the trailer for: Superman (1978)!

Universal Monsters...Why They Should Stay The Ultimate Anti-Hero!

The Universal Monsters we have all come to know and love!
Ok, so I am sure that if you are a movie fan, that you have probably heard that Universal is turning the horror franchises ultimate anti-heroes, (Universal's monsters) in to heroes!

Well if you are like me, you are probably wondering who is smoking what in the Universal think tank that has decided to take a truly legendary classic set of stories like these monsters, and butchering the holy hell out of them!

Trust me when I say that you are not alone!

This guy is pretty unhappy with it...
Now I realize here that maybe I should explain to those that are new to the world of horror, who the, 'Universal Monsters' are...

Well simply, there is a group of monsters that essentially where adapted by Universal Studios in the early days of film for film, but that were based on victorian era monsters from some of horror's greatest novels.

Some of these monsters are: Frankenstein's Monster, The Wolf Man, Dracula and The Mummy, and that is to name a few!

This is an image of actor: 'Bela Lugosi' as, 'Count Dracula' in the movie of the same name... Dracula is based on the novel by Bram Stoker.
Anyway, in a lot of respects, you could say that these monsters are sort of the ancestors of the modern horror movie villain, and it would be incredibly stupid to turn them from their darker roots in to some kind of hero, and I will tell you why.

First off let me say this, modern Hollywood has tended to seriously butcher their remade horror movies, (not all of them, but I would say pretty much a good 99% of them are pretty useless...)

The next thing that I wanted to say is that where as it is true that new ideas are definitely what Hollywood needs to keep infusing in to the world of movies. Taking a classic like, 'Dracula' is like taking, 'Michael Myers'and making him a super hero fighting alongside the X-Men... It is a stupid idea that would frankly piss off the Halloween and X-Men core audiences respectively!

This, 'A Nightmare On Elm Street' remake movie was a great example of a horrible remake of an awesome movie series!
Now before I continue on, I will say that it is always a good idea to have a new set of audience coming in to enjoy any classic... Universal needs to figure out how to get a new audience in there for these classics, while not annoying their core audience.

For those of you who are new to the world of horror, please enjoy these trailer for some of these classic movies... You will see what I mean!

The Second Five Of Ten Horror Movies To Enjoy This Halloween

An awesome holiday! One worth spending doing a movie marathon!
So we did the first five movies over at AwesomeBMovies.com, I hope that you will find something from that era that will work for you this Halloween... I mean there are a lot of great horror movies to have come out between the 1920s - 1960s!

Well now that we have done that run, it is time to show you some great horror films from the 1970s on up that could be great choices for this Halloween as well!

At number 1: Halloween (1978).

Now this one is a little obvious, but the truth is, is John Carpenter's, 'Halloween' has in a lot of respects been one of the defining movies when it comes to horror movies to enjoy during Halloween, and is one that if you are looking for something to scare the hell out of you this Halloween, will do a great job!

Number 2: Cannibal Holocaust (1980).

Cannibal Holocaust... This horror film from the 1980s is truly gruesomely fun, and could be said to be one of the more famous Cannibal movies of all time... If you do decide on this one though... Watch it with some one there... You won't regret it!

Next up at number 3: Tales From The Crypt Presents: Demon Knight (1995).

Now this movie, (which was based on the classic horror anthology TV series/Comics, 'Tales From The Crypt Presents',) does have some fun thrills and chills, but what it looses in over the top chills, they make up in just having an absolutely bad-ass movie!

And at number 4: 28 Days Later (2002).

This one is an awesome British Zombie movie, that is as much fun now as it was then... And I will say this, I suspect that the way this movie was filmed had some influence on at least how some of the earlier seasons of, 'The Walking Dead were filmed!'

And finally at number 5 we have: Scream 4 (2011).

With this one, you might be asking yourself why I am doing a sequel movie instead of an original movie... Well the truth is, is the original for this movie would make for a great addition to this list, but I thought that I would mention, 'Scream 4', because let's be honest, this movie series was fantastic, and as long as the studio is smart and lets the movie series die, then it will have gone out with a bang!

Please note that this list is not from best to worst, these are just some great horror films from the 1970s on up to the 2010s that we thought that you would enjoy! For the first five, check out the list I did over at AwesomeBMovies.com!

And if you like this list and would like to see some more of the great movies and other awesomeness, check out our sister site at: HellsDepot.com!

Batman Vs. Darth Vader... A Battle Royale We All Want To See!

The battle we have been waiting for!
So crossovers, no matter what the genre for decades have been something that has been really popular for decades... Rather you want to see the crew of the, 'U.S.S. Enterprise' teaming up with the, 'X-Men', or if you want to see Ash fight just about every big bad movie villain to have come out in the last 30 years!  Fans have wanted it... And mostly in written form they have gotten it!
Well a few months ago I was looking around at videos on youtube and I found a video of the evil, 'Galactic Empire's', 'Dark Lord Of The Sith', 'Darth Vader,' fighting Gotham's own, 'Dark Knight', 'Batman'... And it wasn't some weird mashup, or some one with no budget trying to have some fun...

This particular video is a total blast, and although it is definitely indie, you could tell that some serious thought, and some serious capital went in to making this the best that it could be, so check it out!

Friday Night Double Feature: The Crawling Eye (1958) And Sharknado (2013)

The Friday Night Double Feature this week: The Crawling Eye (1958), and Sharknado (2013)!
That's right guys... Friday night fast approaches... Time to get together with the woman you love, pop some popcorn, pour the bubbly, and turn on some insanely awesome & cheesy as hell, 'B' Sci-fi movies... Well your girl maybe a little peeved (unless she is in to these types of movies... Hey, you never know... Am right?) No, but seriously, unless you are truly home alone this Friday night, or are in a position for a fun good ole fashion shlockfest, then I got a couple of goodies here that will please the masses, old or young! First off... A golden oldie, The Crawling Eye (1958).
This guest at the Swiss resort probably won't be coming back... But then again, the resort officials have a lot more that they are going to have to worry about...
Starring: Forrest Tucker (The Bionic Woman), Laurence Payne (Vampire Circus), (They Came From Beyond Space) & Janet Munro (The Day The Earth Caught Fire). This awesome tale, tells the story of a Swiss resort in the Alps, and how for the vacationers at the resort, they are about to have some Alien company... And they enjoy tearing people down... And I don't mean emotionally!
And the next one is a more recent one, this one being: Sharknado (2013)!
Aliens invade the Earth... Accept these aliens come from the ocean, and not from outer space!
Starring: Ian Ziering (Beverly Hills 90210), Tara Reid (American Pie), John Heard (Assault On Wall Street), Cassie Scerbo (Agoraphobia). This movie tells the tale of a different invasion, when the Sharks from the Ocean begin to invade the rest of the world... Humanity will be powerless to stop them... But a bar owner, his friends, and family are bound and determined to try!
The truth is, is these movies are both cheesy as hell, awesome as hell, and if you are looking for a night of just good ole fashion thoughtless fun... You can't go wrong with these movies!

Lego To Bring, 'The Avengers' And 'Jurassic World' To The World Of Lego Video Games

The Avengers are about to be turned in to Lego form again for this falls Lego video game, 'Marvel's Avengers'!
Jurassic World (2015) & Avengers: Age Of Ultron (2015)... If you haven't heard of them yet... Well let me set your mind at ease... Both movies are the highly anticipated sequels to some of Hollywood's biggest franchises (i,e. Jurassic World, is the latest sequel in the, 'Jurassic Park' series, and Avengers: 'Age Of Ultron', is the sequel to the blockbuster 2012 movie, 'The Avengers'!)

But we here at Hellinspace have come to discover something kind of interesting... It turns out that LEGO is planning on releasing both, 'Jurassic World', and, 'Marvel's Avengers' lego video games... later this year!

Jurassic World maybe coming to the big screen soon, but the LEGO video game version won't be far on it';s tail!
That's right folks, according to: Gamesradar.

Jurassic World will be a lego form video game that will allow the player to play in a lego version of, 'Jurassic World', as well as all of it's predecessor movies (also in lego form)!

As for, 'The Avengers' this game it looks like thus far will be a family friendly re-creation of the original movie in all of it's true awesomeness!

Jurassic World is set to be released on: PC, PS3, PS4, Wii U, Xbox 360, Xbox One, Nintendo 3DS, and PS Vita, some time in June, and Marvel's Avenger is set for release some time this fall!

Friday Night Double Feature: A Nightmare On Elm Street/A Nightmare On Elm Street

If you are a horror fan, then you mostly likely have seen both the remake and the original version of horror movies, and if you are like me, then most of the time you will see why as a remake of the movie just doesn't quite hold up to it's legendary predecessor...

Well if you are also like me, then some times you like to watch the original and the remake back-to-back, and then afterward compare both in your mind, as both a remake to the original, and if you are lucky enough to find a lesser objectionable remake, to see how that movie could actually be good as it's own original movie!

So I thought that I would do for this week's double feature: A Nightmare On Elm Street (1984) and, A Nightmare On Elm Street (2010)!

It's A Krueger double feature!

For more information, please enjoy this trailer for: A Nightmare On Elm Street (1984):

Kurt Cobain's Montage Of Heck

Kurt Cobain... A master of grunge rock in the 90s is being brought to prominence with a new documentary about the master!
Kurt Cobain... This guy... Man this guy in the early 90s, did for Grunge, what Elvis did for rock 'n roll nearly 40 years earlier... I mean you could say that in Kurt Cobain's short, yet prolific career, that he became the King of the grunge rock scene!

Now something of interest has come to light recently, and that is the documentary that Brett Morgen (Chicago 10) recently did about the life and times of the amazing talent, and the darker more unfortunate side of his life called: Kurt Cobain: Montage Of Heck (2015).

The poster for the movie: Kurt Cobain: Montage Of Heck (2015).

Another thing that appears to have come to light since Kurt Cobain's biopic has started playing the circuit at Sundance, is an interesting sound montage mix tape that he did in the late 80s!
