I will be honest and say that I am not the biggest fan of the, 'Synth' music movement... Don't get me wrong, it certainly has it's place, and the truth is, is that there are some good groups out there making even better songs...

So to give it it's just deserve, I thought that I would give you guys a small sample of this with 5 classic synthpop songs from the 1980s!

The First Music Video That Aired On MTV

On August 1st 1981, MTV saw it's first day on the air, ever since then it has helped further along the careers of some of the greatest musicians of the 1980s on up to even the present (and some could say that they were responsible for giving birth to what would eventually come to be known as the, 'Reality TV craze' with such shows as, 'Road Rules' and, 'The Real World'.)

But have you ever wondered what the first music video that was first played on the channel? Well here it is: Video Killed the Radio Star by: 'The Buggles'. This music video was aired on the first day that MTV started airing on TV back in 1981!
