Believe it or not, there are generally very few heavy metal or other form of rock & roll bands that I haven't heard these days that have made some sort of impact... The only problem is, is that there are some that I haven't heard a lot of... And you know what? If you are as big a fan as I am, of these types of songs, then it is a shame!
The reason that I mention this is that Pantera just happens to be one of that group that I was never really able to give the time that was really necessary to...
Well the truth is, is they are not a bad group, and as a matter of fact, Pantera's, 'Cemetery Gates', a single that was released in 1990, and then re-released in 1995 as the first song on the horror movie sound track for, Tales From The Crypt Presents: Demon Knight (1995), as well as being used as a cover song that was done by some amazing musicians, including: Russell Allen (singer for, Symphony X), Burton C. Bell (from, 'Fear Factory'), and Dave Mustaine (From Megadeth for part of a tribute to Pantera guitarist, 'Dimebag Darrell' after he passed away!

This song also was used as cover songs for such albums as, 'The Anatomy Of,' from, Between the Buried and Me... Evile also did a cover of this song for Metal Hammer's tribute album for Dimebag Darrell, as well as for their re-issued album, 'Infectious Nations', as well as others...
But you know what? I realized that I haven't mentioned why I thought this song was good... Well the truth is, is that I should probably give this song a better grade... I suspect that I maybe being hard on this song... The truth is, is this song is fun it has song is freakin awesome! It was well made, it had some killer instrumentals, that I think would both excite and enthrall the truth fan (I know it did with me,) and I am pretty certain it would scare the hell out of just about anybody who would listen to the likes of, 'Backstreet Boys', 'Brittany Spears' or whatever other weirdo teeny boppers band is out there today!
And on another note, if you are a fan of Heavy Metal, and haven't heard these legends yet, then I would highly recommend checking out this song first, it is pretty bad ass and a great way to learn about this awesome band!
