You know, I have to admit, the more I get in to these modern, Horror/Science Fiction video games, the more I find that I really like them!
You see for me, I pretty much skipped over a few generations of some of the video game systems that are now considered to be 'retro'... A good example (albeit I have to admit that I am glad I skipped it), was the era of, 'Playstation 2' & the like... Don't get me wrong, I know that there are people that probably are out there that still swear by this system... But the few games I did have the opportunity to play on it, I found to be so boring that I ended up just skipping that generation entirely... Well thank god that with the birth of the XBox 360 and other more modern video game systems that we have relief!
And one of the games that I recently played that is the reason that I mention all of that is the video game, 'Fracture' (2008)!

Developed by: Day 1 Studios and Published by: LucasArts for both the Playstation 3 & the XBox 360, this video game told the story of a future Earth, where in the United States, the population has become so divided by the East Coast side and their belief in perfecting mankind's technological acumen, and the west coasts belief that mankind should focus on improving man itself, that a civil war erupts that will eventually involve the newly formed, 'Alliance' (really east coast forces with some international assistance), and the, 'Pacificans' of Pacifica... (A newly formed nation on the west coast of North America.)

The truth is, is this game has an amazing story, with shockingly fun special effects, and great graphics... The problems... The controls are a little bit difficult to maintain (especially since when I was playing, I continuously ducked when I was fighting (and that is particularly annoying when it came to fighting because ducking really slows you down...)) The other problem that I had... Now before I begin, let me say this... I absolutely love hard games... This game had the hard parts in all the wrong places!
In the end though, despite it's few problems, and I found it worthy of going through, and if you try it out, you might find the same thing as well!
