I know by today's standards, and by the next generation, that people like, 'Elvis Presley' & 'Johnny Cash' are getting further and further away from being relevant to the current generation... But I mean if it wasn't for these guys and the multitude of talented musicians that came before and after, what is popular now, may never have existed...

What I mean by that is that people like, 'Elvis Presley', and the type of unconventional music that he played in the time that he played it helped pave the way for more unconventional artists to cone about, and for over 60 years of awesome music to come about!

The reason that I mention this... Well... There is another great band that I am glad to finally be adding in to the mix, this band rocks, and this song is iconic of America... 'Rock Around The Clock' (1955) by: Bill Haley & His Comets!

You saw me write above that this song is, 'iconic', and the truth is, is it is, I mean no song has represented a time period so well as this song, (so much so that the TV show that probably most represented the values of the 1950s... That of course being, 'Happy Days', used this song for it's theme!)

Now I will admit that this song is dated... But it is a good one, and if you are looking for a bit of nostalgia, this song maybe good for that!
