These children of the damned... Rather the be from the original movie, the sequel, or the remake are tiny tots you don't want to mess with!
Being some one who has been reviewing and blogging about movies and all sorts of other areas of the horror and science fiction genre for the last few years, and all sorts of other forms of B movies before that, I have come to do an awful lot of research on all sorts and kinds of aspects of both the horror and science fiction genre, and those aspects that are both...

With all of that in mind, there is one area of the world of horror and science fiction, that for a lack of a better word, has been heavily devalued... And for good reason of course, but with that said, there are certain elements of remakes that are definitely worth mentioning...

And so I thought that you would enjoy these: 'Five Classic Sci-fi/Horror Movie Monsters From The Original To The World Of The Remake.'

At number 5: The Blob, (from: The Blob (1958) & The Blob (1988):

Now this monster from the world of Sci-fi/Horror is pretty badass in both the original version(which starred: Steve McQueen) and the remake, which starred: Kevin Dillon (No Escape) & Shawnee Smith (Saw), let's just put it this way, after seeing this movie I am sure it is going to make you think twice when you are about to take your first bite of, 'Jello'!

At number 4: The Thing, (from: The Thing From Another World (1951), The Thing (1982) & The Thing (2011)).

Now this one is a little bit different, you see, first off: the Alien from, The Thing From Another World is almost completely different from John Carpenter's (Halloween) version of the monster... (In the original it is still mostly a humanoid looking monster, where as John Carpenter's monster is more a virus that kind of destroys the humans around it...) And then again, also, The Thing (2011) is still different, due to the fact that this movie is a prequel to the Carpenter classic, and the Alien whose blood created the virus that nearly destroyed everyone in the original is still alive and kicking... And the prequel is considered to be the events leading up to the remake!

At number 3: The Pod People, (from: Invasion Of The Body Snatchers (1956), Invasion Of The Body Snatchers (1978) & Body Snatchers (1993)):

I will be honest and say that I have no idea why so many people hated the second remake, (Body Snatchers (1993), ), I mean not only was this movie a fun one, but the 1978 version of this movie, (with Donald Sutherland, Leonard Nimoy, Veronica Cartwright, and a whole mess of other amazing talent,) was also a total blast as well! (I haven't seen the original yet... Don't worry, that one is coming...) And as for the monsters in this movie... Well to say the least guys, it is one you should definitely watch on a dark and stormy night!

At number 2: The Children of the Damned, (from: Village Of The Damned (1960), Children Of The Damned (1964), Village Of The Damned (1995)):

To be honest, with this one I don't know much about them (I have never seen any of these movies, but I have heard from other people who have seen these movie, and have read up on these movies, and have heard they are pretty good, and I mean heck, with actors and actresses like: George Sanders (Batman), Michael Gwynn (Scars Of Dracula), Ian Hendry (Theatre Of Blood), Alan Badel (The Day Of The Jackel), Christopher Reeve (Superman), Kirstie Alley (Star Trek 2: The Wrath Of Kahn), Mark Hamill (Star Wars: Episode 4 - A New Home)... I mean, you really can't go wrong, right?

And finally, last but not least, at number 1: The Fly, (from:  The Fly (1958), Return Of The Fly (1959), Curse Of The Fly (1965), The Fly (1986) & The Fly 2 (1989)):

To say the least, the monster in these movies at the very least will properly demonstrate the difficult nature of trying to solve teleportation... And with such talent as: Al Hedison (Voyage To The Bottom Of The Sea), who ended up becoming the, 'Fly' in the 1958 movie, Brett Halsey (Club Utopia) who became the, 'Fly' in the second movie, Brian Donlevy (Wake Island), George Baker (Journey's End), Michael Graham (The Bedford Incident) who as the descendants of the first 2, 'Flys' started making new monsters in an effort to finish the family science project! And for the remake: Jeff Goldblum (Jurassic Park) in the first remake movie & Eric Stoltz (The Butterfly Effect) in the sequel to Jeff Goldblum's movie...

I have to say it, but included in this roster of supporting cast/characters: Patricia Owens (Five Gates To Hell), Vincent Price (Pit And The Pendulum), Jack Daly (Phantom From Space), David Cronenberg (Videodrome), Geena Davis (Beetlejuice), John Getz (Zodiac) and last but certainly not least, Daphne Zuniga (The Initiation)... All of this has made it so that not only has the Fly had a very awesome lineage of talent playing the mutant Fly/Man, but also those that have had to fight against them!
