You  know, I will be honest and say that I have grappled  with the idea in the past of reviewing short films,  as well as, 'short stories', 'novellas' and the like... The truth is, is there really is not a lot there, so that I can understand not doing them, especially with the fact that it is probably better to save the time and energy for bigger works... But then again how can I not review one of the most famous horror/thriller short stories of all time?

That being: The Tell-Tale Heart (1843), by: Edgar Allan Poe!

Probably one of the most famous horror/thriller short stories of all time!
And as for the story itself... Well I have to say that it definitely lives up to it's hype! What I mean by this is that this short story... I read this short when I was maybe 10 years old, and I have to admit that coming from a kid who had for the most had lost the capacity to be scared when it came to horror movies, had a pretty nice burst of adrenaline when I read this story!

I mean this novel, which has to more or less deal with the inner monologue of a man who had murdered an old man and dismembered him and then put him under the floor boards of the place that he was staying at... Well when he is trying to convince the reader that he is totally sane, he starts to hear the beating of the, 'Tell-Tale Heart' of the man he killed!

Ultimately this story is a fun one, I mean it builds up the suspense real nicely, as a matter of fact I am going to say it... This short story is so good, that if you are a true horror fan, but haven't read it yet, then do so, you might like it... I know I did!
