I mean I would say that not only did they help trail blaze some of the awesomeness that is heavy metal, but considering the fact that these guys have been broken up for years, with a lot of the band having died... And considering the fact that there are still young men and women from all over the world that are getting in to their music, that not only are they British icons, but historical icons as well!
And you know what? For myself, a guy who has been listening to their music since I was barely in the single digits, I hope that their legacy of true rock 'n roll genius lives on forever!
