You know I will be honest and say that a lot of the bands that I have listened to that have either broken up, or have had enough of the band die, that they ended up disappearing, I have found that most of the time that they have done some truly amazing music  to the point where even though they may not be making any more music, they are still doing well enough that the music that is left, I am just pleased with!

There  so far has been only 2 bands that I have thoroughly missed after they disappeared in to history! The first one being, 'White Zombie'... Well fortunately since Rob Zombie is still making music, and thus the loss is lessened... Another band is the, 'Dead Kennedys'... Well at least before they reformed in 2001!

The truth is, is I haven't heard any of their new stuff, but the hardcore punk that they did in the music of the good ole days was truly impressive... I mean besides the fact that their music just generally rocks... Their generally negative lyrics were done so well that they could sing about just about anything, and it would be a truly kick ass experience... And you know what? California Über Alles (1979) is just one of those songs!

Written by: Jello Biafra & John Greenway for their 1980 album, 'Fresh Fruit For Rotting Vegetables', this song created some interesting parallels between, 'Nazism', '1984' & other forms of new world dangers, it was done in such a way that was completely amusing... And although I imagine like, 'The Beatles', 'Helter Skelter' found a dangerous meaning in this song... The concept of violence in media is just nonsense... And this song is  actually entertaining enough that I found this song to be extremely fun, and have no ulterior motive!

In the end, this song is well worth it, and if you are punk fan,  then this is definitely one that is worth checking out... Well I think so anyway!
