Now the truth is, is that I kind of believe that this movie series/TV series/Novel, and more directly, 'Dr. Hannibal Lecter' maybe one of the most scariest antagonists of modern horror! As a matter of fact I would say that, 'Dr. Lecter' is to the world of horror, what Universal's monsters were back 40,50,60 years before the first novel came out!
Now at some point I do want to talk about the movie series and it's importance to the world of horror, but in this case I actually want to talk about the original novel by, 'Thomas Harris'... The truth is, is this novel is truly incredible! You see this novel which tells a similar story as to the movie (a story about a junior agent who ends up working with a brilliant psychotic, 'Psychiatrist' to take down a serial killer that is currently hunting for pray) was an amazing work of fiction!

In the end, I truly didn't think it would be possible to out due the movie... (I mean besides the fact that this movie is award winning, it is also a personal favorite of mine...) The truth is, is it did! And you know what? Give it a try, if you don't like it... Well such is life, but give it a try, and you might find that you like it as well!
