You know I will admit that I was pretty pissed off when I was listening to Kevin & Bean on KROQ back in the 90s and heard that White Zombie had disbanded I mean they were freakin awesome! And for me at the time had brought heavy metal to the border line horror movie level that I found to be really quite enjoyable! And you know why the other reason why I was so pissed off with the fact that they had broke up? Because I had only recently gotten in to their music and at the time I only had their album, Astro-Creep 2000 (1995)!
Well I did get over that pretty quickly when I quickly discovered the release of one of Rob Zombie's solo albums through the movie, Idle Hands (1999), and the fact that at one point they are playing the song, 'Dragula' in the background!
And speaking of this song, and being the fact that this was actually the first song I had ever heard of his from his solo career, I have to admit that I was pretty impressed and ended up picking up the album pretty quickly!
Why was this song so impressive you ask? Well there are a couple of reasons:
1. This song had a great music video attached to it that had strong horror movie overtones that I found that I really enjoyed!

2. Also I really liked the guttural beats that came in from time to time, it gave it a feel of almost being tribal!
3. Also if you are a fan of that type of heavy metal, then I do think you will like this song!
4. Lastly, the other thing that I also wanted to say about this song is that with the music video you can see some stylistic elements that were borrowed from this music video for the movie, House Of 1,000 Corpses (2003), which he directed!
Anyway, I will say this, this is definitely not one of my favorite songs of his, but it i certainly in my opinion is one of the better songs that he ever did!
