When I was younger, one of the video game console series that I had a lot of fun with was the first Game Boy...

It was cool because it was one of the first video game systems that was portable, but also had more then one video game that you could play on it! And with it's popularity, Nintendo was releasing a ton of the games that were on Nintendo for the Game Boy!

Well like things are known to happen, I ended up loosing my Game Boy in a move when I was a kid... And didn't get another portable system until Nintendo came out with its revolutionary, 'DS' series!

Now you might be wondering why I am mentioning this... Well there was a horror video game that I think you guys might enjoy on the Nintendo DS... That game being... Dementium: The Ward (2007)!

Developed by: Renegade Kid, this game told the story of a man, William Redmoor, who has an operation on his brain. The Doctor realized that the mind of William is in danger, so he made nightmare dreams where William must fight back to the end and get out of his dreams. As the Doctor calls it, this is the first phase. Throughout the game, the constant mention of a man who murdered his wife and daughter is brought up. It was believed by the staff that William was the murderer. A news report towards the end of the game says that a man was found standing over the dead body of his wife with a gun in his hand. After a brief struggle police shot and wounded the man. His daughter was found alive.

How would you like to wake up to that when you are in the Hospital?

The truth is, is the graphics were revolutionary, the effects were awesomely eery, and the story was fun... The only problem I had with the game is that on the Nintendo DS you still used the stylus, and it was hard to play a first person shooter with a stylus!

Give it a try though, I found it well worth it, and you might find it that way as well!
