Paramount helped keep an element of Desilu alive after the production company closed down for good![/caption]I hate to say it, but unless you are a die hard TV fan or are some one who has worked in the industry for more then a few decades, then you probably have not heard of, 'Desilu Productions'...
Well for those of you who haven't heard of it, 'Desilu Production' was founded as the production company that was owned by Lucille Ball & Desi Arnaz back when they were still married.
During it's time Desilu would produce a fair amount of shows, but two that I thought that I would mention here that were pretty significant, and that was, 'I Love Lucy' & 'Star Trek'... Well eventually it would be bought out by what would later come to be known as, 'Paramount Television'... But there was one element of Desilu that still is recognizable in the Paramount motif if you know what to look for... That is the Paramount logo at the end of the shows!
