One of the awesome things about this movie is that this is a direct continuation of John Carpenter's first movie, and tells the story of how after the events of the first movie, Michael Myers may have been stopped, but he is not down for the count... After having been shot a whole bunch of times Michael Myers (Dick Warlock) is stumbling about town and ultimately ends up going to various homes through out the Haddonfield area with the intentions of killing his way in to continuing his way toward finally taking out Laurie Strode (Jamie Lee Curtis)!
Also during this time Dr. Sam Loomis (Donald Pleasence), Michael Myers Psychiatrist has come to realize that there is truly something wrong with Michael, and gets Sheriff Brackett (Charles Cyphers) to initiate a manhunt for Michael through out the town!

You see with everyone out looking for Myers through out the small town, they are looking in the wrong place, and ultimately Michael will make his way to the small town hospital to the Hospital and at this point the only group of people that can protect Laurie are not the people that have been tasked with serving and protecting, but actually are those that have been tasked with doing no harm, and healing the sick!

Michael is taking out the competition one right after the other![/caption]Another awesome thing about this movie is how they introduce the fact that Laurie Strode is actually Michael's only living relative left, that she is his sister.... And well it hasn't been established yet that, Michael's motivation is to kill his family, it is intimated that, that is the motivation for his killing spree, and this would become one of the dominating story lines pretty till, Halloween Resurrection (2002), and then would restart in Rob Zombie's remake series!
Anyway this movie truly is a lot of fun, and is a great movie for Halloween, and if you haven't seen this movie yet and are looking for 2 great classic films to really sink your teeth in to, then I would recommend getting the first one and this one, individually this one is fun, but both the first and the second movies are truly awesome!
