One of the 2 things I really genuinely like to do is play video games, and watch movies... I know that is sort of a given... (I mean what guy doesn't like to play video games, right?
But when I get to merge the type of genres that I like or even the video game versions of some of these games, they are a real treat! I mean there are a ton of great Science Fiction as well as horror video games out there, and there are also a ton of video games out there that are based on these movies as well! So when I do find that rare circumstance in which I find a truly bad video game based on either one of my favorite genre's, or based on a movie that I really like, I have to admit that I am taken a little aback...
And you know what? One of these games that I was particularly surprised about is, Friday The 13th (1989)!

Released for the NES (Nintendo Entertainment System) in 1988 (at the height of the Slasher movie craze of the 1980s, this poor version of what could have been a great addition to the world of Video Games has the players playing as Camp Counselors running around Camp Crystal Lake, trying to find Jason and destroy him before he makes that summer another summer at Camp Crystal Lake that you will never forget!
This game in my opinion came out during a brief era when Nintendo was releasing some truly bad video games! Either with horrible graphics, or horrible sound, bad game play... Some would come with all of these problems, some would come with some of these problems... And Friday The 13th is definitely one of those games that came with some of these problems!
The truth is, is that the controls in the game were pretty hard to figure out in my opinion, and the game play was kind of annoying... Essentially just not a fun game!
So take it from a fan of horror movies, and video games, and directly a fan of the, 'Friday The 13th' horror movie series, this is one I would recommend not checking out!
